Customize / Delete “No. of entries” phrase

    Dear team,
    I would like to change resp. delete the phrase: “There are currently 1,2,3 names in this directory beginning with the letter A,B,C”

    I did not find the info accc and would very much appreciate your info. Cheers & best regards, Tilman

    Hi @oestersund,

    thanks for using my plugin and reaching out. The info needed for this is in fact in the FAQ about how to change the appearance/styling.

    You can hide elements with the classname .name_directory_total to accomplish this. This is done with css. If you do not know how to write css I can do it for you in exchange for a cup of coffee ??

    Thx for your quick reply – I understand that the team is you:-)

    Yes, helping out where / how I would have to edit /add Css acc. In order to 

    a) avoid the total count and
    b) to overwrite with other language (I am in DE) would be great.

    Where / how can I donate??

    Hi Tilman,

    you can add this to Theme -> Customizer -> Custom CSS:

    .name_directory_total{ display: none; }

    to hide the total count.

    Name Directory adheres to the site language. So it’s not really possible to just change a bit of text. You can do it by editing the source files, but it will be overwritten every update, so I wouldn’t recomment that.
