Customize Daily.php

Hi:
I want customize the template daily.php , then I’m using WP_query()

For test, it works fine! but only for test.

Daily does not send any mail, I have this log:

Can I use WP_query() in a template of Mailpress?
How it works daily.php? actually sends daily post and these are repeated? or send only new post?
