Hi, Héctor. Thanks so much for a great plugin!

I’m wondering if there is any way to remove the word “comment(s)” from the widget in the settings, Post HTML Markup, or css. I would just like the number to be displayed since we are using a comment bubble icon to indicate that the number is in fact a comment count. I know it’s possible to change the wordpress-popular-posts.php file to get this result, but being able to leave that as is would be ideal for the project I’m working on (fairly big site, several developers, etc.)

Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

    Hi jenkma02,

Yes, it can be done. Use the {comments} content tag with the Post HTML markup feature as it only displays the actual comment count without text.

There’s already another solution in the works that allows more flexibility in customizing the HTML output in a more developer-friendly approach. There’s still some work to do though, but that’ll probably be the recommended way to go in the near future.
