customize code

I just installed Code Snippets Pro. I’m not a web developer. I am admin though. Do I need to know code in order to properly/effectively utilize this plugin?, or is there a code reference guide that that I could utilize to help me fill in the (code) blanks? For example, If I wanted to remove bullet points from a nav menu, ..perhaps I could go to the code reference guide and ctrl “bullet points” to see what adjustments I would need to make in order for it to be specific to my web site..? Thank you!
