Customize blog entries at the bottom

Hello,
I’m running your theme on aaronkheifets.com and I was hoping I could customize the small blog post previews at the bottom of the main page. I was coping that I could:
1. Set the number of blog posts linked there. I have quite a few more blog posts but only want 3 to show up because otherwise they spill onto the next line.
2. I was hoping to remove all metadata information from the display of the preview, such as the date, author and the fact that comments are disabled. Just the title or just the title and preview image would be fine.
