Customization Request

  • Plugin works perfect! How can I change the file name such as adding user and page data, like – imagename = “%userid%%username%%pageid%%pagetitle%” and change the upload directory to my choosing such as uploadpath=”uploads/webpictures”

  • Hello BJSimm12, Did you get any progress on your customization? I have the exact same need. I am developing a learning website and need a snapshot of the user for verification. I am considering looking at the code myself and modifying.

    @maydaohio mine is still a work in progress and learning as I go. I can send you my resources used and try to help. As stated I am learning so no expert and you may have more knowledge than me.

    Having an issue in using this with Divi. Comes up with error but saves to top of page.

    Also have a requirement, if can add this to page when uploading to a specific directory it can get info from page that has contact form 7 e.g. name, other fields, that I can manually add somewhere. It can then save this filename in specific folder.

    Let me know if you are able to so something like this as a customization.

    Hi,

    I am trying to embed this into a contact form 7, so when I click to take snapshot it should allow for this file to be uploaded via the contact form 7.

    Also the file must be loaded to a specific directory. Then as a bonus if the filename could use fields from the contact form or be unique, I must know which photo belongs to which contact form 7 submission.

    Also, when I embed your shortcode [web-cam] to the divi, it is not allowing the save.
    I think it has to do with the <form> in the php itself.

    Hope this makes sense.

    Appreciate your assistance, let me know if this is something that can easily be done?

    Hi, I am using in my page but it is not changing to the rear camera on my Android. It does not give any options to choose which camera. It is showing the front camera.

    Please urgently help on this one.

    I changed this in the webcam.min.js file and it started working.
