Customising the “New Order” Email

  • Hi there – were using the New Order email with the New Free Fluid Template to print tickets to our cloud-enabled printers which are sat with our chefs. Could you assist in customising the content to help productivity and reduce errors. In particular:

    1.) The order quantity is always combined within the same column as the product title – is it possible to have it placed as just a digit in front in its own column to the left of the product title.

    So rather then

    PRODUCT NAME
    Quantity: X

    Should be

    X PRODUCT NAME

    2.) Could we move the order notes from below the product table to the top – perhaps under the heading?

    3.) Is it possible to hide/remove the payment method & shipping & subtotal rows from the bottom of the table?

  • Hey,
    Unfortunately, there isn’t an option for those things. you would have to customize the woocommerce email templates and manage that within a child theme. These are not things you can change with a little CSS or something simple, it will require custom PHP and for that, I have to suggest you get a developer if your not comfortable coding.
