Customiser has removed the items from manage page sections

  • in customizer on the side bar i had 4 sections displayed (testimonials, portfolio, cta) in the page content / manage sections area. They have now disappeared making it difficult to edit these sections. i did open the front page in beaverbuilder by accident, would this cause my sections to disappear? items are still displayed on the front page although not shown in customiser.

    Yes, this is your main issue.

    You need to disable the Beaver Builder editing mode for your Front Page and to go back to a previous version of your Front Page using the Page Revisions from WP Admin -> Pages -> Front Page -> Browse revision.

    @ionuttudose – that worked perfectly, many thanks for your advice. i have restored the previous version of my front page and can now see all of the elements in the page content section in customizer.
    i cannot see how i disable beaver buider for the front page – where can i do this?

    i can disable beaver builder but that stops me using it – i need to use BB for every other page and only customiser for the front page.

    I have mentioned to only disable the Beaver Builder editing mode for your Front Page not to disable the Beaver Builder plugin from WP Admin -> Plugins.

    You should revert the editor for the Front Page (WP Admin -> Pages -> Front Page) from Beaver Builder editor to the WordPress editor.
