Customised Menu Colour (Surfarama theme)

  • Good Morning,

    I have been asked to customise menu colours for the navigation on a site which uses surfarama theme (https://surfarama.com/). So for example “Home” and “Content Styles” would be different colours rather than the existing blue.

    I have read elsewhere that each menu tab is itemised in other themes (tab-1 etc…) to allow unique css editing per tab. I cannot see this code in surfarama, what would be the best way to change these colours?

  • There of course different ways to do this.

    One way would be in the menu editor in WordPress add a class to the menu item. Sometimes you have to go to screen options to show this input box. Then code the background color for each class of each menu item a different color.
