Customise Excerpt

Thanks for the reply, however I am still not got the workaround, I am new to wordpress and even PHP. I switched from Asp.net. So, here everything is blurred to me.

I am using Syndication plugin to import the posts from various blogs and “Easy Custom Auto Excerpt to generate the excerpt”.

I was thinking there would be any a function to call author and date of post and edit the excerpt but really finding difficult for the workaround.

For help with specific plugins, you need to post on that plugin’s sub-forum – i.e. here:

Looks like the developer of that plugins is pretty responsive to posts on that forum.
