• Using G. Analytics I find that either using the WP analytics or putting the code into the header.php, I got counter results of about 70 consistently when my counters give me over 500. Looking at it, 70 is about what the landing page gets and 500 is what the landing page and the article pages get. Am I putting the code in the right place in Customfy? Or is something else wrong ya think?
    Thanks

    Hi @kicker

Sorry, but I don’t understand what you mean ” I got counter results of about 70 consistently when my counters give me over 500. Looking at it, 70 is about what the landing page gets and 500 is what the landing page and the article pages get. ”
    Could you elaborate?

Also, I recommend you use this plugin to add the GA script code:

    Let me know!

    Thank for the reply!
Whether I use the analytics plugin or put the analytics code in the header.php. The results are always around the same. 70 per day.
On the other hand statcounter gives me usually several hundred a day and up and down sometimes 2000 a day. But analytics never goes above 100 a day. EVER. Looking at Statcounter I can see that the landing page results are usually under 100 a day, but article results go up and down by hundreds and some days thousands. I keep thinking analytics code in the HEADER.PHP is only counting the landing page. Seems logical, though I have no idea really.
    Thanx again Kicker
