A few weeks ago, we installed this plugin, and everything seemed to be fine. I enabled Force WP User Logout and set it for 120 min. At first it seemed to work just fine, but I recently received calls from 2 customers who said that when they created an account on our site, then tried to checkout, they received a message saying that their session had expired (I’m not sure of the exact wording since I didn’t see the message myself).
This of course left them very confused since they had only created an account seconds before.
Since this has been brought to my attention, I have disabled that feature of the plugin to avoid any more frustrated customers, but if anyone has any idea about what is going wrong and how to fix it, that would be great.

Hi that option of 120 minutes as you already know will force members to log out when their session reaches 120minutes. This is good for security reason however in your case it might not be a good option to set up since you have a membership site. Some members might not like to get logged out forcefully after a period of time.

    In regards to your comment.

To me that is a different issue from the option you disable above. Unless of course while they were creating the account they wondered away for over 120 minutes then came back and finished creating the account then logged off. Then perhaps that message would be valid.

You might like to check the log files.

I would encourage you to do some tests and try to reproduce this issue and then let us know what the exact wording is.

Thank you. I think that for right now I will just keep that option disabled. If the problem persists I will know that it was something else causing it.
