Originally we had it set to require registration because people were spam voting hundreds of times. The problem is a vast majority of people were complaining that they were unable to register because they never received the email to confirm. We even explained to check spam box, etc. After we registered with a test email it took 30 minutes for the email to arrive. So we then changed it to the “cookie” method. The problem is people are still telling me they are unable to vote.

Is this maybe not tested with Apple devices or with maybe phones?

Actually, someone just replied, and they are trying to use an iPhone. Is that the issue?

Hi calebweb,

it has nothing to do with devices. I tested right now with my PC and after 25 minutes still no mail has arrived.
It is a common issue that many webhosting provider does not configure their Hosting Packages in right way use mail function.
There is a good article about that with ouptions you could do:

As I researched the option with WP Mail SMTP: SMTP Setup seems to be the most popular so I would try it.
There are also plenty of different plugins when you search www.remarpro.com repository that provide mail SMTP Setup

Well, sadly the plugin still does not work even though we disabled the required log in. We are still getting people who are complaining because they can not vote.

BTW, everyone who has complained so far is using an iPhone or iPad.

Maybe they voted already, but they had not recognized it.
If you deactivate “Allow vote out of gallery” the complains might disappear.

No offense, but it really does not mean much if it just works for you. We just had yet another customer contact us that they are unable to vote. That is aside from the one yesterday who said they were unable to vote each day.
