    HI,

    I have a woocommerce store with all products listed in USD. whenever a customer makes an order and pays, i get a new order email.

    Recently i noticed that although the product is worth $90, the customer is somehow able to finish the checkout process by paying the amount in some other currency for example 90 RUB instead of $90.

    hence, im having to login to paypal for each order and verify the received amount, which is taking a lot of time.

  • This might be an issue with Paypal and not woocommerce.

    Hello there,
    WooCommerce sends to PayPal the amount in the currency set in **WP Admin → WooCommerce → Settings → General**.

    Make sure that is correct. Also, you might want to check with PayPal or try to reproduce the issue yourself to figure out what is causing this.

    @nicolamustone Yes, its already set to USD $ in WooCommerce → Settings → General**.

    I tried to do a checkout using private browser and i was directed to paypal and could see the amount mentioned in USD $. i couldnt login to paypal as seller and buyer account would be same.

    Here are 2 screenshots of the scam order i received. it shows in USD in backend. however payment was recevied in RUB in Paypal.

    Thanks for the info.
    Do you have the PayPal Debug Log option selected in **WP Admin → WooCommerce → Settings → Payments → PayPal**?

    If so, please send us a ticket from WooCommerce.com > My Account > Support with details from the log regarding this order. You can find the log at **WP Admin → WooCommerce → Status → Logs** selecting the proper PayPal log from the dropdown on the right.

    If no, please get in touch with PayPal support to see if they have any logs of this payment.
