Customers say that payed post ask for buy again

    Hi, I’m asking here because I can’t reproduce the problem on my side.

    A client bought an access to a page, after the purchase has been automatically completed (virtual + downloadable) he tells me that when he enters that purchase he is asked to buy the product again.

    I logged in with his user with a “switch users” plugin and I can see the page bought without problems.

    Is there something I can check on my side to see if everything is ok? As I mentioned, I use virtual + downloadable to give access to the page using a downloadable file, then I use Total Cache plugin for the web.

    Hey @mauriciogarofalo couple things to check.

    1.) Did the customer actually login to their account and try to view the content?

    2.) Do you have caching enabled for logged in visitors? If so you might want to try to disable that and see if that corrects issue.

    1. I guess because he access the page protected from “my-account>orders” page
    2. Cache for logged in users is disabled as recommended.

    The only thing I can think of then is that maybe it is their browser caching. If they are looking at the protected content have them try to either hold the SHIFT Key and press refresh or add a query param like ?cache-busting=123 to the end of the url and see if that clears their cache.

    Other than that, if you are able to login and view content when switching user to them then it has to be user error somewhere along the line.

    Solved! Customer said that he had some website blockers or something like that. All working fine now. Thanks for your quick assistant.
