Customers section empty at backend

    Hi All,

    I’m very new to website creation and infact this is the first website i’m creating for my ecom shop. I’m facing two issues that I require help/info on. Please note, i’m not that big of a coder and have used all features that come up part of woocommerce and other plugin.

    Prologue: So, I wanted to capture few more details when a user registers and hence did not want to use the native register page by woocommerce, hence used a plugin called ultimate member to design a new page. Now, user creation from UI is working fine and a new customer can login to see my shop details post login and run through upto checkout. But below are the two issues i’m facing.

    Issues: 1) I can see the registered users under the Ultimate Member section in my backend but i’m not able to see the same users under the “Customers” section in woocommerce – even my admin login is not showing up as customer though it’s showing in the later – am I missing something here? does it not sync automatically?
    2) To test cart abandonment I tested 2 scenarios a) admin abandons cart after adding a product (this is showing up under the cart abandonment section) b) I created a dummy user to test the same flow, but this is not showing up in the abandon section like the latter.

    Help in this will be really appreciated, again i’m very new at this so any help will be really appreciated. Please do let me know if any additional info is required or not

    1.) My guess would be that the “Ultimate Members” plugin or another one on your site is impacting the default role, so these users are not getting listed as customers.

    I would recommend disabling that plugin. Once that’s done trying placing an order through WooCommerce. If you do that and they show as a customer, you’ll need to contact the developers of that plugin as they are overriding the default WooCommerce functionality.

    2.) You are using a third-party plugin for this functionality, not WooCommerce (WooCommerce Cart Abandonment Recovery: by CartFlows Inc). You would need to contact that developer directly for help with their plugin, as they don’t likely visit these forums.

    I hope that helps to point you in the right direction.

    Thank you for the response. Quick question, I’m using the 3rd party plugin to control login/logout menu function as well actually it gives the option to show and hide header menu based on logged in/out users. Anyway will give it a shot and report back

    Also, I have not made any changes to the cart flow to be honest I’m using what’s default. Anyway will dabble with cartflow as well and report back. Thank you again for your response

    Sorry @zicoaqua, I’m not sure what the question is here? Were you just mentioning that plugin as it also impacted the way users interact with your site? Or did you have a question about it? If you have a question about the plugin, you’d want to contact the developer of that plugin. If you had another question about WooCommerce though, feel free to share it here ??
