customers cannot pay with bank ing via Ideal if they are on the facebook browser

    Hello,

    I have noticed that customers cannot checkout with ing (IDEAL) when they are browsing on the facebook browser. When customers click checkout it keeps loading but they are not redirected to ing’s payment app.

    can you give me more information on what do you mean by Facebook Browser. I would like to try to reproduce that issue.

    Hello Andreas,

    When customers click on a product through our Facebook page they are redirected to the webshop. If this happens in chrome or firefox it is not a problem.

    But customers who click on our products through the fb app in facebook are redirected to the webshop through an internal browser of fb and that’s where it goes wrong for customers who want to pay with bank ING (IDEAL)

    Once they want to checkout the screen keeps loading but nothing else happens.

    https://hondenknuffels.nl/ but to test it you need to be at the facebook app and be at the facebook page of hondenknuffels https://www.facebook.com/hondenknuffels from there you need to click on a product for example to be at the facebook browser and making a order with ING (IDEAL) as payment!

    Hello Ramon,
    I just tested this process (fb app – checkout – ING app) and everything seems to work as intended. It shows me the process up to when it needs to open the ING application for payment, but I do not have this application in order to test further.

    How far does the process go and what are you seeing on the fb-browser?

    Yes strange i just tested this process too and since today it looks like it works again.
