    The redirect is done before the thanks page is shown – I’m not sire you’ll be using the core PayPal gateway..

    I think I found the problem. All my entries in the back end are correct. I found out by disabling all plugins one by one and the problem is caused by the Germanized plugin. When that is disabled, everything works fine. I’m waiting for the developer to come up with a solution, which unfortunately seems to take forever…

    Perhaps a note for others experiencing the same prob. If you use the Germanized plugin for “Rechtssicherheit in Deutschland” and choose to check orders manually first, your customer will not be directed to PayPal straight away. Once you confirmed the order, there’s a button in the confirmation email that directs your customers to PayPal to finish their payment ??
