Customer Template Override Not Working

I’ve created an override template for the customer email and put it in my child theme at wp-content/themes/childtheme/woocommerce/emails/customer-rfq.php but it’s being ignored and the default email template is being used.
I think this might be related to the problem that I saw raised in this thread:
