The other thread was never responded to. We needed the feedback.

    Hi

Apologies, I saw there was a suggested solution, on the other thread, hence the reference to it.

I have a problem with the customer email template that I put in my child theme not being applied, can you help please? I’ve put my version in wp-content/themes/childtheme/woocommerce/emails/customer-rfq.php but the plugin isn’t using it, and I can’t see why not. :-/

    Many thanks

I just tested it and it does work. Please remove any custom solution, upgrade to the latest version and try again.

    Thank you for testing it.

Can I ask what you mean by “remove any custom solution” please? I have some other custom WooCommerce override templates but they’re working correctly. I have the latest version of the plugin, and WordPress, etc.

    Many thanks

Sorry my mistake. I thought you were having the same problem as the other thread and using the custom solution there. Can you look in your php error log and share it with us.
You can send it to [email protected] if you don’t want to post it here.

    Hi

I can’t find any errors in the PHP log, syslog, nor in the Nginx error log. There’s nothing in the MySQL error log either. I’ve tried enabling WP_DEBUG as it’s normally off as this is a production site, and there are no errors there either.

    I’m puzzled!

The plugin works great apart from the template override not being recognised though! Thank you.

we will figure it out. Can you try with version 1.8.232

and let us know if it works with that version?
you can use this plugin to easily revert.

that would help us a lot. we did make a change in the last version regarding template paths.

    Hi there

Aha! The template override in version 1.8.232 works as it should. So the change in version 1.8.233 to the template paths is the problem?

I’ll stick with 1.8.232 for now then!

    Many thanks for your help.

Please try 1.8.234. That should have fixed the issue.

    Hi

Unfortunately, the problem is back, i.e. the template override doesn’t work, it uses the standard template again.

    Many thanks

Thanks for doing the testing for us. It is important because we can’t duplicate the problem and we have not had another report regarding this. We appreciate your help.

    Hi

How to take this forward please?

    Summarising:
1.8.232 – template override works correctly
1.8.233 – template override does not work correctly
1.8.234 – template override does not work correctly

Please let me know if I can test another version…

Many thanks for your help, and for the plugin.

You are very welcome. thanks for you help.
Please test the latest version 235. We think this should be it…fingers crossed ??

    Hello

Many thanks for the latest version, v1.8.235. Unfortunately, it’s still not using my template, so it’s back to v1.8.232 for now as that version does use my template.

Happy to test again when you have another version. ??
