    Hello,

Is it possible that sending an email to admin automatically when front-end user adds “Customer Notes” via [tracking-form]?

    Thanks!

    Hi Jason,

You can select an email to send in the “Premium” tab, with the dropdown labelled “Customer Notes Email”.

    Many thanks!

However, can admin receive email with the updated customer notes?
The short code [customer-notes] seems that it only sent the email with current (previous) customer notes.

    Hello jasonli5467,

what happens if you set the “Customer Notes Email” property and add a Notes and later update it? what do you mean by current(previous). For each order there is only one associated customer.

    Best regards,

    Hello EtoileWebDesign,

For example, if user successfully tracks an order and types “XXX” in the “Customer Notes” field at the web page, the received email doesn’t show “XXX” but previous notes.

    Here are my settings:
    “EMAILS” >
    “E-mail Messages” >
    “Message Name”: Received >
    “Message”: [customer-notes]

    Thanks!

    Hello jasonli5467,

That is correct, once the customer enters the Notes in the beginning of the shipment it is saved in the database and then even if the customer changes the Notes, it will still fetch the 1st note. As a shipment once dispatched cannot be retrieved to make changes, thus the customer would only be able to enter notes in the beginning without updates.

    Best regards,
