  • Hello @ryandesigned,

You can override this file via your child-theme. In your child theme, you have to create a folder dokan and then insert the template file which you need to override. Kindly note that if your file contains any folder inside the templates folder like /templates/global/update-account.php then inside the child theme the folder would be like dokan/global/update-account.php.

I hope this will help ??

Thanks, I am creating that identical path in my child theme, and I the file is not overriding… Any reason possibly why?

The other files that I have similarly overridden work fine…

    Hello @ryandesigned,

Could you please mention which file is causing the trouble? Please keep in mind that you can only override the files that are inside the template folder.

    Thanks.

update-account.php from the dokan pro > Tenplates > Global

Added it child theme dokan > global but it won’t overrride

    Hello @ryandesigned ,

I just tested in my local server and I was able to override the file by placing it in – child-theme/dokan/global/update-account.php as suggested earlier. One of the reason could be having this file also in the main theme. Please make sure that you do not have the file in your main theme.

    Thank you.
