Hello, is there a way to automate the customer invoice/order details e-mail to send to the customer? It appears to only be manual and have to manually do this in Order Details (Edit Order).
Ideally when a customer makes a purchase on my site, they should receive their order confirmation and details!

And through testing, when I do manually send – nothing arrives.

    Hi @tarotemporium!

Hello, is there a way to automate the customer invoice/order details e-mail to send to the customer? It appears to only be manual and have to manually do this in Order Details (Edit Order).

This information is already contained in the ‘Processing order’ email, which is automatically sent to the customer when the order is placed (if enabled under WooCommerce > Settings > Emails).

The order details are also contained in the ‘Completed order’ email, which is also sent automatically (if enabled).

The Customer Invoice email is designed to be sent independently as an extra option, if the customer did not receive it the first time, or they need the details again. Therefore, it is not sent automatically.

    Cheers!

    Thanks!

I have ‘Processing Order’ enabled and to customer, but I just did a test to my own e-mail address and did not receive anything when I put in a live order.
I also did it manually through ‘edit order’ and nothing.
Is there something I am missing?

    Hi @tarotemporium

Have you also checked your junk mail box? If you don’t receive emails at all, you’ll want to run a full conflict test to determine if the issue is coming from a plugin/theme conflict.

The best way to determine this is to:

    • Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
    • Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
    • Test to see if the issue has been resolved

If you’re not seeing the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated. To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict. You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here.

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – we’ll be here if you’re still having the issue
