    Hi,

    i installed your plugin and i set up the registration form, the default role is Customer, and in Roles i set Email verification with redirect to profile page and login on activation, and in Appearance > Registration form i set Registration Default Role as Customer. When i do a test the page reload and the text You are already registered appears. The account is not activated but i dont get any email. All the other email are sent like Cancellation email or changed password email, they arrive. Activation email doesnt arrive and it is enabled, i followed all your guides online. I dont know what to do. Can you help me with that? there is any log file i can check to fix it?

    You can install the “Check & Log Email” plugin and verify by logging all outgoing emails if your UM Settings are correct and UM is sending the expected emails and emails are lost during the transportation to the user’s inbox.

    Try to use a secure SMTP connection for your email issues.
    Lost emails and issues with Gmail is common when using a not trusted web hosting email server.

    Hi,

    thank you for your detailed reply, but what concernes me the most is that emails arrive, any kind from UM, only confirmation email is not delivered at all. On my tests, I receved emails when i cancel an account or when i need to change the password. But when i register a new account, i dont get any email even if i followed your documentation:
    Default role is Customer.
    Roles > Customer -> Email verification selected with redirect to profile page and login on activation.
    Appearance > Registration form -> Registration Default Role as Customer.
    Activation Email is enabled.

    I set SMTP, but my email as customer doesn’t get any mail for account activation.

    Can you find copies of the account activation emails in the “Check & Log Email” plugin log file?

    There is no trace of the activation email on the log. I tried many times.

    Can I provide you some log to check if there is some conflict or some bug I can’t recognise?

    I dont know what else to do, because as i said i followed UM guide to enable it.

    Try to resend the Activation email from WP All Users and the UM dropdown with Actions.

    WP Backend Users -> All Users select a User
    click on UM Actions -> Resend activation email

    @missveronicatv i see also your function um-resend-activation and it is very good for resend the email when user try ti login , but there isn’t a way for create a button on the message after the registration ? i mean a button like ” resend activation email” after the phrase “thank you for registering with us…

    Hi, I’m facing the same problem again, our new users dont get the confirmation email and are auto confirmed and registered.

    @noviia for you is the same? i mean even if you resend activation email the user doesn’t receive the email?

    If I force the resend, users get the email. But now the problem is that a brand new user has the account autenticated automatically, and all the settings were the same like the beginning of this thread. The website has Wordfence plugin, the default account is customer and the emails are enabled, I followed all the guide but there is no difference. I don’t have any log that shows any problem, simply once the user signup is automatically accepted.
