    Hello.

    A little question.
Is it possible to connect a customer display, using a tablet or other type of display.

If it is possible, is there a guide to how to do, and where can I find it.

If it is not possible now, is it something you want to consider if it could be possible.

  • For me, I use the another LCD Monitor (connect to my All in one computer) to show the display to customer. (use duplicate display on screen resolution windows7/8, ok)

    oki
But I only want the customer to see the price and what kind of product they purchased.
With your solution, the customer will be able to see the same picture as on my screen right.

This is a great idea! I will add it to the feature request list.

The method similar to that described pearwcz would be the easiest, what I could do is add a new menu tab for ‘customer display’ which has a customer friendly version of the cart, then you could display different screens rather than mirroring the display.

Showing the live cart on a separate device is a lot more difficult. This is because the cart is all stored locally, so there would need to be extra functionality that pushes the data to the customer display. It’s something I could look at in the future after the 1.0 release.

    Hello kilbot.

If you could add a new menu tab so there was a possibility of customer-friendly display, so I will look forward to trying this.

But about the other I wrote about getting a customer display possible on a tablet, it is something I have seen in another program called Erply, and here goes the whole also from the Internet, but Erply unfortunately can not talk with WooCommerce.

But I hope that you find a possible solution for this, because it would make things so much better, both for me and my customers.

And I also think that there are many others out there that will have pleasure of it.

    Best regards.

A little java could let you communicate with a USB LCD dot matrix display. Just like a regular register.

    Hey Killbot.

Have you found out anything with a customer friendly version of the cart as you described, I still look forward to it.

It would be nice to be able to use two monitors on my computer to it, a screen to the shop assistant and a customer friendly to the customer.

    Best Regards
