Good day. Just installed the plugin and doing some initial testing. I saw others in the forums here mentioned using programs that bring Amazon and Ebay orders into woocommerce and then email reminders being sent to those orders as well.

My question is if we have the “Customer Consent” option checked. Those orders being created in the backend of the store from Ebay and Amazon should never receive an email regarding a review correct?

In other words, even if a customer places an order through the woocommerce store normally if they do not select that option there is no way they will get an email for a review. I just want to double check that in fact, the Customer Consent option works that way as Ebay and Amazon do not allow emails for reviews from outside sources.

    Edit to the above:

We see that manually added orders from the back end even though no consent was made they are still being sent the reminder email.

Is there any way to only send them to users who provide consent?

    Hi,

    Thank you for using CusRev.

If the customer does not tick the checkbox Customer Consent on the Checkout page, the review reminder will not be sent to their email address. But if you create the order in the backend, of course you are not a customer, and you can send the review reminder to the customer address manually as well.

We haven’t heard from you for more than two weeks. For this reason, I’ll assume that either you are not interested in this question/problem anymore or it has been resolved. If you still require any help, please start a new forum topic.
