    Hello,

this is our second support message and we want to thank you for your quick answer on the first one. We’re still very happy with your Plugin. My question relates to the backend-overview of all purchased licenses.

So on the frontend in the my-account-area there is a very nice overview of purchased licenses by one customer with reference to the product he or she purchased. This overview is great and we’re looking to implent the exact same data to the backend-overview-table.

Is it possible to display the customer as an additional table column in the backend-overview and the csv-export of all licenses? Also it would be nice if the backend user could use the search field to search for customers and then show all licenses for this customer. Simply said: The goal is to show all licenses for the one customer we’re looking for in that moment.

We would really appreciate any kind of information on how to implement this feature as soon as possible by customizing your plugin or using your API.

    Thank you and best regards
    Marc

  • Hello @marc2307

Thank you for your message and for using my plugin.

This sounds like a feature that anyone could make use of. I will add it to my backlog and implement it as a standard feature of the plugin. Basically, I’m thinking of implementing the following:

    • Add a “Customer” column in the Licenses backend table
    • Add a “Customer” dropdown filter to the licenses backend table
    • Ability to filter by said dropdown
    • Ability to search customers by name/email directly in said dropdown

    Would that cover your needs?

    Hey @drazenbebic,

that was really fast, thank you!

Your solution covers most of our needs. The possibility to use a input-based-search (via search field) would even be better. Imagine having 300+ customers and searching for one specific customer using the dropdown. This could be really time consuming.

Can you maybe give us a timeline, when this update can be expected?

    Kind regards,
    Marc

    Hello @marc2307

This part is covered by the last point in my list:

    • Ability to search customers by name/email directly in said dropdown

This means, that the dropdown will look like this:

As for the timeline, I am currently working on the next big plugin update, the earliest release date would be the end of this month. The latest release date will be the end of next month. So to speak, it’ll take some 30-50 days from today on.

    Will this work for you?

    Hello @drazenbebic,

With your proposed solution our requirements should indeed be fully covered. I didn’t understand your point until I saw the Screenshot, thank you.

Also thank you for giving us a timeline. We’re really looking forward to the new features.

    Kind regards,
    Marc

    @marc2307

    No problem!

Once I have the update ready I can send you a “Patch” which you can copy-paste to obtain this functionality a bit earlier.

Let me know if you’re interested.

    Hi @drazenbebic,

I would like to ask an additional question to the requested feature update. The search function for licenses of a specific customer in the backend overview is great, but would you also implement this feature within the REST API? We’re looking for the exact same feature for the REST API. So just an API query for all licenses of a specific customer.

    Thank you and kind regards,
    Marc
