Customer Account Problems

I am having problems with the account page not showing a signin form. I’ve tried everything I can think of but it won’t show the signin. I was wondering if it is possibly because my site does not have an SSL. I’m being hosted by GoDaddy, but on the other site I’ve built on GoDaddy using Virtue, the account feature works great.
