    These options are checked:

Allow customers to log into an existing account during checkout
Allow customers to create an account during checkout
When creating an account, automatically generate an account username for the customer based on their name, surname or email
When creating an account, send the new user a link to set their password

    This is unchecked:
Allow customers to place orders without an account

When a customer completes a purchase the user is not created and they do not receive an email to set their PW.

    We’re selling virtual, subscription products.

    Hello @rbarron!

    Thanks for the reply!

When a customer completes a purchase the user is not created and they do not receive an email to set their PW.

Could you please check while having only the WooCommerce plugin enabled and using a default theme like Storefront, and see if the problem persists?

This is to check if any third-party products are interfering with your setup.

    More on that here: https://woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/

Additionally, please look for any fatal errors under WooCommerce→Status→Logs and share them with us if there are any.

We will look forward to your update!

    Joseph,

Thank you for the prompt reply. The issue was with the way I was testing, getting the emails when I use a new address for the customer.
