• Hi, when we go to PAGES> and then select any of the pages we previously created the template is set to DEFAULT TEMPLATE. When we change the template to [OUR CUSTOM TEMPLATE] and click on UPDATE it will set itself back to DEFAULT TEMPLATE.

Also, when we try to insert images into POSTS the image doesn’t show. We just see a small grey box or broken link image.

Is anyone else having these issues?

  • Uploaded images not working at all for me either. Broken link images.

(Only way to see the image is to choose to edit the image, but after saving it’s back to broken image icon)

@daniel Wajander: It is considered impolite to interrupt another poster’s ongoing thread unless you are posting a solution or suggestion. It causes significant problems for the forum’s volunteers and prevents us from being able to track issues by topic. Please post your own topic.

@esmi: I read “We just see a small grey box or broken link image. Is anyone else having these issues?” I thought it to be polite to answer and letting nokanet know she’s not alone. I’m sorry for annoying you (your avatar is clear on that point).

Yes, we are not able to insert images into posts

When we “add media”, select a photo from the library and then click on insert it inserts a blank small square default box or broken link image. When we click it we see that the src url box for the image is blank. If we add the URL to the image manually to this field and save it the image will show.

Our hosting provider (Hostgator) was able to fix this issue. They found and fixed errors in the postmeta table of mysql database and our site works again.
