Custom "wrong message" doesn't work?

Hi, for some reason custom “wrong messages” doesn’t display in my quizzes.
“Correct messages” display just fine, they also work when I choose to have the same message for correct and wrong.
My site is only part of a larger site (nrksuper.no) so I’m afraid there might be some conflict with other parts of our customized WP that does it.
Thought I’d see if someone else has experienced the problem or have any known solutions/causes though.
