custom wordpress plugin

Hi,

I’m create a custom plugin module to handle basic content and image management in the admin side of WP. but how i insert the data in admin page to database.. In my plugin code not insert the data in database..how insert and how displayed the same data to displayed in admin page..?Please guide me..
