Custom what is show when you hover an event in full calendar

  • I don’t want to have all the description of my event, I would like to have only the whole title and maybe a litle bit of the description but impossible to find where to do that ?
    I looked every where in the plugin and even in EVENT MANAGER, I tried to use the tools from wordpress (extrait and more) but it didn’t word
    Mu full calendar continues to show the entire description of my events ??

    Where to custom that ?

    You could customize the tooltip that shows under Events > Settings > Full Calendar Options > then change the “Event tooltips format”.

    hey thank you for your return
    I saw that but we can only say yes or no for the description, and if I put yes, we ALL my content in my event (so all the text, i can’t have just an extract for example (I tried with the extract in wordpress and with the ‘more’)

    If i Say NO, there isn’t anythink who appear when we hover, not even the title of the event … it’s very strange that we can’t choose what we want in the tooltips.

    I just need to have the all title who appear and If I can, only one sentence from the begining of my event (the extract provided by wordpress by example)

    I don’t know how to do that … Or even just to have the entire name of the event in my case or more that 4 letters after the time beginning of the event ??

    Have you tried entering something in the event’s “excerpt” field?

    Yes I had, I wrote “extract” , I made a mistake with my english word
    I tried excerpt field and “more” too
