• My website is up from 2005 and it’s just not good to have 0 views on each as my new theme display views and I don’t wanna hide it, my total views from 2005 up till now is 3mil on 630 hard written posts.

I did this 3000000 / 600 = 5000 to average out views because I don’t want to check analytic of 10 years, so I would like to give each post a 5000 view and than they will get their fair share over time.

    Any SQL query or something?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi there!

Right now, I honestly can’t think of a simple way to do this.

WPP stores page views in two separate database tables: a summary one (total views since the plugin was installed) and another one that serves as a daily “log”. Inserting 10 years of data into them… well… as I already said I can’t think of a proper way to do it at the moment.

I’ll come back if I figure it out.
