    Hello,
When i add a new field (either mapping or custom), on the right side i need to choose the value from a dropdown menu. I would like to know how to add a constant instead? I mean, instead of adding an option from the dropdown, i would like to write something and keep that string for all the products in the feed. How to do that?

Now i found “static value”. Thanks!

On the other hand, i would like to ask you about the “CATEGORY” option value…
When i choose it, the feed shows an empty column. And if i chooose “CATEGORY PATH” it actually shows the path, but with some strange characters…
Is there an issue with the “Category” option? Is there any other way i could use just the category as a value for the column?
    Thanks

    Hi djwilko12,

Thanks for using our plugin and reaching out to us.

The attribute Category path is meant to be mapped to Google’s g:product_type field. See: https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/6324406?hl=en

As you can see in the examples given on the above page characters such as > need to be encoded. That is why you see the “strange characters”.

The default category mapping for Google feeds is this one, you need to leave it as is: https://www.dropbox.com/s/3s6atpc2esmvd0s/catmap1.png?dl=0

The above mapping will put the Google category taxonomy ID’s in the feed when you have completed the category mapping on the ‘Category mapping’ page. See paragraph 3 of this tutorial: https://adtribes.io/setting-up-your-first-google-shopping-product-feed/

When you want to put the name of your original WooCommerce categorie(s) in your feed, for example in a custom label, then you need to add this field mapping to your feed configuration: https://www.dropbox.com/s/tjyltzzzlreknj6/catmap2.png?dl=0

    Hope this helps?

    All the best,
    Eva

Thank you, Eva for your clear explanations! Appreciate it!

Just one more thing: what would be the difference between Enable conversion tracking and Enable Google Analytics tracking? Is the Enable conversion tracking something related only to your plugin? If so, where can i see those conversions stats?
    Thanks!

    Hi djwilko12,

The “Enable conversion tracking” option does indeed measure conversions on your products and is done by our plugin. This however is done in preparation to upcoming plugin features where you can create filters and rules on those conversions.

You could then create filters like this: “Remove all products from my feed that did not have any conversion the last couple of weeks”.

The filters / rules features on conversions however are still in development so you can’t do anything with it yet ??

    All the best,
    Eva

    Hi again Eva!
Could you please tell us how intallments work for shopping ads? Where can i configure them?
    Thanks!

    Hi,

Sure, first you need to enable these extra fields:
    https://www.dropbox.com/s/rk3n46gqok6tjn3/installment-1.png?dl=0

And then fill those extra fields on your product edit pages:
    https://www.dropbox.com/s/4y644xqwdqyyvar/installment-2.png?dl=0

And map those in your field mapping like this:
    https://www.dropbox.com/s/f12zbfx043khmwx/installment-3.png?dl=0

And that’s all. Now re-process your product feed and you will see this in your feed: https://www.dropbox.com/s/a8pkzbrrpqkzw6f/installment-4.png?dl=0

    Hope this makes sense?

    All the best,
    Eva

Hi Eva, amazing support as always!
Where should i go to enable these extra fields? Is only available on paid version?

    Hi,

Aha my bad, yes those extra fields are only available in the paid version of our plugin. You can see from the XML example I showed in my previous reply that the instalment XML piece is somewhat more complex then a normal field so adding the instalment fields like I explained above will only work with the extra fields our plugin adds. Using some other custom attributes will not work.

Should you be interested in upgrading to the paid version of our plugin then please reach out to [email protected] as we are not allowed to discuss anything with regards to the paid version on the public WP-forum.

    All the best,
    Eva

    Hello Eva,
    Hope you are doing well!
We are having a strange issue… When have started migrate some sites to your plugins and using your feed for dynamic display remarketing. Now we started to receive an warning from Google Ads saying our ID′s are not matching the feed. Is very strange… and didnt happen before.
Did you heard before about this issue before? Is there any bug or something? Our feeds are csv files.
    Thanks!!!

    Hi,

You need to make sure that the ecomm_prodid of your Google Ads remarketing pixel matches the value of the g:id field in your product feed:

    This:
    https://www.dropbox.com/s/5u0gcn58is8fvpy/ecomm_prodid.png?dl=0

    Needs to match this:
    https://www.dropbox.com/s/1py6eyqi5i4hsph/ecomm_2.png?dl=0

When they do not align then you will see the notifications you do.

    Best,
    Eva

    Hi Eva,
We are sending the right ID info to the tag. We checked it with tag assistant.
On your second image you showed an xml feed. We are using csv feed. Do you think that could be the reason Google is not ¨reading¨ correctly the product′s ID info?

    Hi again, one more thing:
Every time i try to create a XML feed, it gives error when i open it: Malformed Error.
Is it a bug? Please kindly check it. If you tell me a private channel i could give you admin access to the site
