    How can I add the Downloads menu to the menu for a custom user role? Is this a feature of the pro version but not the free? After the standard, free installation I can only see the Downloads options when logged in as an administrator, but I would like to allow custom user roles or specific users to upload files to maintain the archive. Thank you.

  • author and editor also should be able to see download menu, however you can to add edit_posts caps with your custom role to see downloads menu.
