• I cannot add any new user field group or field in the settings dashboard. I just click the add button and nothing happens. Even if I change the text of an existing group (there is only one group made so far) it does not allow me to save changes, the save changes button is greyed out. Any idea how or why this might be happening and how to resolve it? I am up-to-date with all plugins and WP.

Essentially, nothing works on the user fields settings page of the plugin. Frustrating. I have tried multiple browsers too and it’s the same issue on Chrome, FFox etc

    Please advise!
    Thank you

  • Hi @tpxtravel,

Thank you for reaching out to Paid Memberships Pro.

I am sorry to hear about the issue you are facing. It sounds like something else could be interfering. To determine possible causes you may temporarily switch to a default WordPress theme, e.g. Twenty Twenty-One, deactivate all plugins except the core Paid Memberships Pro plugin, re-enable plugins one by one while testing the issue at hand

    Kind Regards,

Hi there. Also note that this Register Helper plugin is no longer needed. You should make sure it is deactivated. That might not fix this issue, but having the RH plugin active in the future might cause other issues.

The other thing to look into are JavaScript errors on the settings page. There is a good doc here on how to diagnose JS issues. If you notice something, let me know what you find. There could be another plugin or bit of code causing JS issues that breaks JS for our code on that page.

Using Your Browser to Diagnose JavaScript Errors

Finally, as a work around, you should still be able to add fields via custom. So look into our docs on how to do that. Personally, I would try to resolve the issue on the settings page here, but offering that as an option.
