  • Get this plugin and install it:

    https://www.redalt.com/downloads/#redirectify

Then set up a custom field for your Photo Album Page:

    key: redirect
    value: url of your choosing

Excellent. Thank you for such a quick response!

read it, but im still confuse on how to implement it. could you explain in simple terms.

How much simpler than the above do you need?

    1. Download the plugin zip from redalt.com and extract redirectify.php.

    2. Upload redirectify.php to your blog’s wp-content/plugins directory.

    3. Activate Redirectify under Plugins in your WordPress admin.

    4. Edit an existing Page or post: Manage > Pages or Manage > Posts.

    5. Under “Custom Fields” in the Add a new custom field section, add redirect as a key and the url as the value for it, then click Add Custom Field.

Barring problems on your server or an invalid url for the value, you’re now redirected to the url you provided when visiting that Page or post.

Personally, I find the easiest way is setting permalinks to use page slug. Make a new page, in this case, call it photos or something similar. Then make a new folder on the webserver called photos and upload. This is what I did for the forums and pictures for loganleger.com/powerlifting.

    thnx!
