Custom URL images are not zooming

Hello!
I was told by my theme (theme Freesia/photography) support team that in order to create custom URL for my images I would need this plugin Gallery Custom Links by Jordy Meow to create custom URL. With the help of this plugin I can now create custom URL for my images but when I click the images, they open in new tab and remain the same size as were on the main home page. What I want is that, when clicked, the image zoom/enlarge and stay on the same page as it happens on the demo version here when you click any image in creative gallery in home page:
