• I have WooCommerce Site and I have set up a Custom Thumnail Size for the Woo Laying Injector so that it will display a 1000×667 Thumbnail on Category Pages. The Original Image is 1000×1000.

For some reason it is randomly reverting back to the 1000×1000 size. I cannot find any reason causing this, and it is not all thumbnails. I do not see any pattern.

All I can do is cleanup and regenerate 440 images…which works for a little while and then random images start reverting.

Any idea what could cause this?

    Hi,

If you go to my plugin settings page, there is a disable WooCommerce regenerate option. Have you tried with that enabled?

I have checked that option. I guess now I can do is wait and see if it works.

    Thanks.

Unfortunately even after checking that box and regenerating all thumbnails I am still getting that issue, and it is still random. It isn’t even Products that I have updated, or part of the same category. It appears to be completely random.

How can I fix this, because I have a client complaining every time a thumbnail size changes because it throws the uniformity of the site off.

It’s a bit difficult to assess the situation since I am not aware of your setup, but I presume it has to do with the “Woo Laying Injector” which might not do things using the WordPress standards (never used it before, so can’t tell for sure).

If you disable that one, do you still replicate the issue?
Maybe there is some piece of code in your theme/plugin that is overriding the images. Check for the cron jobs as well, if there is a scheduled task that processes the images in the background, maybe you need to remove the task as well.

    I hope this helps,
    Iulia

That’s the issue…I cannot disable it and test for the issue. The Woo Layout Injector is what I am using in the Divi Builder to create the layouts. And the Custom Crop for the Woo Images is the only reason I am using your plugin.

The developer of Woo Layout Injector says there is no known conflict, so I don’t even know how to troubleshoot the issue.

@iulia-cazan does your plugin run any thumbnail regeneration automatically?

If not, is it possible that any regeneration is being triggered during action hook execution?
