Custom Theme no content in page content window

    A custom theme was previously installed on a client’s website. He’s no longer receiving assistance from that developer. I’m trying to make make some changes on my home page, but when I go to the page content window, there is nothing there. I suspect there is some kind of editing interface within the theme but I can’t find that anywhere in dashboard.Does anyone have any insight into this?
