Custom theme based on Twenty Eleven / WP Symposium

    We have a custom theme on the basis of TwentyEleve.

    We are currently busy altering the site https://secretaressepool.nl into a webshop through WooCommerce. However. we wish to hava visitors contact each other without initially seeing each others e-mailaddress.
    Therefore we also downloaded WP Symposium.

    WP Symposium states that the current theme needs to be reset to default.
    Does that mean that the current lay-out of the site will totally be altered?
    Or will the lay-out remain as is, and ‘only’ the features necessary for WP Symposium be actived?

    Dear esmi,

    Thanks for your reply. I just decided that I’ll delete WP Symposium completely; too many features for what we need.

    In our webshop we want to give our subscribers the opportunity to contact other subscribers, however by a non visible e-mailaddress. So far the best solutions seemed to be BuddyPress and WordPress. But again, both have too many features for what we need.
