Custom Theme Background Override Option?

Hi guys

I have created my own custom theme in Artisteer which makes you select a background image, but unfortunately it is not appearing at the correct size in wordpress. I have managed to code so that background now appears in the customize section however this isn’t overriding my theme code and therefore isn’t working. Can anyone suggest a way or some code that can fix this problem please?
