Custom theme

  • I am developing my own themes with custom scheme. Is there a list of best practice strategies that need to be available in my theme to work with your plugin.

    Hello @mosesryan341,

    Yes! For the most part though, if you follow the standards for making themes you will not have any issues. Particularly, make sure you call the appropriate functions for displaying the_content() and the_excerpt() where appropriate.

    In addition, you can further customize PowerPress with your theme. We have some examples here: https://create.blubrry.com/resources/powerpress/powerpress-and-your-theme/

    IF you release your theme to the public and styles and/or uses features in PowerPress, please let me know, we will list the theme in the list of “podcasting themes compatible with PowerPress” under the FAQ section.
