    I’ve tried to use the Settings > Strings – Custom Text Settings section to amend form text and found that after the first text change the rest are not applied. Almost like they are cached somewhere. For instance I’ve changed the “Summarise your review or highlight an interesting detail” to “Summarise your review or share an interesting detail” but the original still appears on the form in the address above.

    Are you using a caching plugin or is your website cached server-side? That would be the most likely reason.

    If you are using the Review Forms add-on to create a custom form, try changing the placeholder option in the field options of the form.

    Yes – my mistake. Just realised there was a placeholder option in the Review Forms add-on that obviously had priority. Thanks for your prompt reply!
