Custom text in social tab doesn't work for Twitter

In pages Yoast has a tab called ‘Social’. When you customize the text for Facebook, it works all fine. Even it changes it directly for Google plus.
For Twitter it keeps on showing the websites title. The custom text doesn’t seem to overwrite this title.
