Can I create and use custom templates in the free version? I couldn’t find anything in the documentation. By “template” I mean update-safe template files in the child theme folder. Thank you!

    Hi cutu234,

    Thanks for reaching out.

Yes! In the free version, you can create new templates using the customization options available in the ‘customize’ tab. Simply click on the ‘create new template’ button to initiate this process. Once you’ve created templates, you can access them through the ‘My templates’ option, located on the sandwich button within the customize tab.

However, please note that more advanced HTML-based template customization options are exclusively available in the premium version of the plugin. If you’re looking to enhance your invoice’s features, you might want to consider our premium addon, the WooCommerce PDF Invoices, packing slips and credit notes.

    Hi there,
thank you very much. That’s not exactly what I was looking for. I meant template files in the child theme folder like, say, for Woocommerce.

    Hi?cutu234,

Thank you for clarifying your query. We understand your requirement. However, the plugin doesn’t currently have an option to save document templates to the child theme. Presently, template customizations are managed within the plugin itself.

Thanks for the prompt reply. Having this option would be great. Many plugins offer a GUI for the not so advanced user in the paid version, while tech-savvy users can do the same directly in templates files.
