The next big release of Display Posts will include a basic templating engine, along with Gutenberg support. One of the most common questions I get is “how can I make the listing look good”, so I’ll build a few basic style options in the core plugin (the styles will only load if that template is selected).

This will also provide a more robust tool for developers like us to define custom templates in the sites we build.
