Custom Template like content-download-filname.php

    Hello!

    I wanted to create a mixture of the content-download-filname.php and content-download-title.php, i.e. image of the type, title of the download and counter.
    However, I see that the image is not created by the template, but apparently in a different process, whereby the NAME of the template ( content-download-filname.php ) or “filename” is the key.

    How can I solve my task?
    I have found a workaround, but I have to replace the original PHP file, which is inconvenient due to plugin updates. A content-download-filname.php with the same name below /download-monitor/ does not seem to be considered or preferred.

    Hello @wp-henne, 

    Thank you for your message. We would like to ask if you have uploaded the template into the child theme folder and if you have updated the settings for the Default Template in Downloads > Settings > General > General Settings.

    Download Monitor’s templates can be overridden from your theme by copying them to yourtheme/download-monitor/, or you can add your own new ones to the same folder. They are then referenced in the shortcodes.
