    Hi there,

On my page I want to do the following.

    Create 2 pages, blog style:
The original ‘home page’ will have all posts and be hidden.
Page 1 will contain all the posts that fall into the category ‘review’
Page 2 will contain everything from category ‘News’
About page, will replace the original home page.

both P1 and P2 are made with the same custom template.

I have the option of going into settings>reading>static pages and setting the About page as the new home page and Page 1 as post page. (I have already created a custom template and uploaded it for this purpose).

    My question:

How do I mangage to do the same for page 2 (set as 2nd post page) I have created the page, used my custom template etc… Is there any code I need to add to my custom template to achieve this?

[ Please do not bump, that’s not permitted here. If it’s that urgent please consider hiring someone. ]

  • The Blog In Blog plugin will let you assign a category to a Page.

Hi, thank you. I have just managed to sort it out using the ‘Page Links To’ plugin. When editing the page I can now point the page to the News and Announcements category page URL so clicking on the News and Announcements tab takes you directly to the News and Announcements Category page. Now I have my two post pages, with separate content, on the tab and my ‘About’ Page as my home.

    Seems to work well ??
